Smart Water Fund
Project Knowledge Hub
Welcome to the Smart Water Fund Project Knowledge Hub. In this section you will find information on each of the innovative projects supported by the Smart Water Fund.
The Smart Water Fund exists to support and encourage innovation in water conservation, water recycling and biosolids management. We invest in projects and ideas that act as demonstrations to show others in the community, business and government new ways of saving and reusing water.
By investing in these innovative ideas, the Smart Water Fund hopes to help transform the way we think about and use water to encourage a more sustainable water future.
The Knowledge Hub houses the learnings generated from these projects since the Fund’s inception in 2002. You will find case studies, research reports, tools, images and links for each project.
The Knowledge Hub is designed to help others apply this knowledge to their own circumstances.
The Smart Water Fund has invested in a broad range of projects and within the Knowledge Bank you will find information on projects covering areas including:
- Research and development
- Water treatment and recycling
- Sports and recreation
- Healthcare
- Tourism
- Manufacturing
- Industrial ecology
- Education
- Vegetable farming
The Knowledge Hub is regularly updated with new information as each project progresses and new knowledge is created.
